How it works

When you drop an image, your browser reads it, draws it onto an invisible canvas, and re-encodes it as WebP — Google's modern image format that achieves 25–80% smaller file sizes than JPG or PNG at the same visual quality. The result is created entirely on your device.

We support JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, AVIF, TIFF, WebP, and HEIC/HEIF (iPhone photos). All formats compress to WebP for maximum size reduction.
